Sai Yok Noi Waterfall - Kanchanaburi

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall Also known as Khao Phang Waterfall is a famous waterfall for a long time. The reason why it was named Khao Phang Waterfall was because it was born on a limestone cliff that collapsed into a cascade of limestone rocks at the foot of the mountain.

Its origin is water that springs from the mountains and flows along a small stream, flowing into limestone cliffs with a height of about 15 meters, spreading along the slopes of the hill under the shade of various plants. It is a small waterfall with only one level, in the rainy season there is quite a lot of water but in the summer sometimes there is no water at all. It is a waterfall located only 60 km from Kanchanaburi town on the main road which is quite convenient to travel.

The road in front of the waterfall is lined with shops and restaurants. Those are restaurants such as papaya salad, grilled chicken, and renting mats to sit and relax under the shade of the trees. There is a walkway up the top to see the beauty of Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. During a short walk, there will be a World War II steam locomotive that Sai Yok National Park has set up to commemorate the World War II when the Death Railway was built to Burma by passing in front of this waterfall.

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall is open every day. There is no fee for entering the waterfall. If you want to come during the rainy season, the most beautiful waterfalls should come during the rainy season between September and October. The road opposite the waterfall has many convenience stores, shops, and restaurants. Therefore, it is the point where tour buses often stop for tourists to buy souvenirs.

From Bangkok, it takes about 3 hours to go to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, a distance of 200 kilometers. You should rent a car and drive to Kanchanaburi is the best way because you can see other attractions as well.
