Wat Rong Khun - White Temple tourism and atmosphere

Wat Rong Khun is located in Chiang Rai Province. It was restored by Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat, a Chiang Rai painter who is a national artist in the field of visual arts (painting). From a small temple in rather dilapidated condition, it has become a beautiful place of worship, with its architecture and artwork filled with intricate patterns that attract tourists to visit this temple all year round.

The ubosot of Wat Rong Khun has a pure white color, which has become a unique identity that is recognized by foreign tourists who call Wat Rong Khun Thailand White Temple. It is adorned with an ornate bouquet of exotic leaves, followed by many other delicate motifs in a cascading tier. The front is decorated with 2 nagas and a glittering mirror with the intention of the creator to convey various symbols in Buddhism.
