Ko Luang Waterfall, a spectacular stalactite waterfall

Ko Luang Waterfall is the most famous waterfall of Mae Ping National Park in Lamphun, approximately 22 kilometers from the National Park Office. It is a limestone waterfall that originates from Huai Mae Ko and flows through limestone cliffs about 20 meters high, flowing in descending order with a total of 7 levels and finally falling into a large green pool.Because the area has limestone and water flows all year round, the waterfall area has many stalactites and stalagmites and is naturally beautiful.

The area of the waterfall has a large, clean, undisturbed water basin where many different kinds of fish live. If you come during the sun's rays falling to the waterfall, you will see it sparkling with strange beauty. On the way to Koh Luang Waterfall, you will pass shady trees and walk for about 300 meters to reach the waterfall.
