Than Thip Waterfall and Nature Trail, Phetchabun

Than Thip Waterfall, also known as "Moo Bood Waterfall" is a large waterfall that is famous and well known among tourists. The waterfall is a single-tiered waterfall, approximately 26 meters high and 30 meters wide, with water flowing all year round. It is stunningly beautiful and is also the headwaters of Huai Nam Khla.

It also causes a stream to flow until it becomes a small waterfall, cascading down to form a stream.
The stream is also filled with cascades of water for a distance of more than 2 kilometers. Make it look beautiful and full of the atmosphere of shady natural scents.

Than Thip Waterfall was named after Thanthip Village Previously, this village was called Ban Moo Bood.

The outstanding feature of Namtok Than Thip is that in addition to being a large waterfall, the surrounding conditions of the waterfall are filled with numerous forests, both deciduous dipterocarp forests and dry evergreen forests. The forest condition is still quite fertile. As for the walking path to Namtok Than Thip, it is 1.2 kilometers long from the front of the forest park to the waterfall. Along the route, there will always be spots to study nature and ecosystems.

The stream that falls from the cliff and turns into a waterfall is the water that was formed by the spring water, thus causing the water to flow continuously throughout the year.Especially the basin under the waterfall is not deep as a large basin with sandy beaches, making visitors often unable to resist having to go down to experience the cool waters of this waterfall.

The national park has organized interesting activities for tourists to study the nature trails. Along the route, you can see different kinds of birds and butterflies for a distance of about 3 kilometers and take 3 hours to walk.

The national park does not provide accommodation, but has arranged a camping site with tents for tourists. Can accommodate 2 people per tent or you can bring your own tent. Tourists should ask for information before traveling and staying at Tel. 0-1226-0565, 090-800-111, 097-059-186.
