Admire nature at Khun Chae Waterfall, Chiang Rai

Khun Chae Waterfall, Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province, is a beautiful 6-tiered waterfall located in Khun Chae National Park. There is a picnic area and a tent at the waterfall area. It is a 2-hour drive from Chiang Rai Airport to the National Park Office. Then walk for 1 hour to reach the waterfall.

Interestingly, Khun Chae Waterfall originated from Huai Mae Chedi on the Phi Pan Nam Mountain Range. It is a large waterfall in the middle of dry evergreen forest and mixed forest with six levels, each 10-20 meters high. Flowing down from the high cliffs into the clear, cool and shady pools quiet atmosphere There is a walkway to the different levels of the waterfall, which are about 100-200 meters apart.







Khun Chae Waterfall is a beautiful and distinctive waterfall suitable for swimming and cooling off or visiting for a beautiful view. Listening to the sound of water hitting the rocks refreshes the mind. Importantly, this waterfall is not crowded with privacy and tranquility. Here you can have a picnic, relax and set up a tent overnight, as well as light a fire to fully enjoy the natural atmosphere. With a tent fee, only 30 baht per tent.

      Open daily from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
