Because of the road surrounding the area, it was cut off from other protected forests. completely. There are no other natural forests continuous or close to it, so there is no exchange of plant and wildlife species with nature. The diversity of flora and fauna is therefore relatively low.

The name of Chet Sao Noi Waterfall is derived from the name of a village located on the north side of the waterfall named "Baan Sao Noi" meaning "House of Little Girl". Once, when forest officials came to explore the area to establish a forest park, they found a seven-tiered waterfall in that area. It was the reason why the waterfall was named “Jed Sao Noi Waterfall” in accordance with the name of the village and the number of tiers of the waterfall discovered.

Chet Sao Noi Waterfall is located in the midst of a sparse forest that originates from the fertile forest in Khao Yai National Park. It is a low waterfall with seven levels, each about 2-5 meters high. From the 1st level waterfall to the 7th level waterfall, it takes no more than 10 minutes to walk. The stream flows cascades down into a wide waterfall resembling a large rapids with shallow pools for swimming in many places.

Some tiers of the waterfall also have smaller tiers, which is one of the charms of this place.
The park has made a walking path along the waterfall in a cement path down to the 5th floor waterfall and then continues to be a soil path to the 7th level waterfall. There are signs indicating the level of the waterfall and warning signs at various dangerous spots, such as in front of rocks. Do not jump into the water, etc.
